The story
Michael Nadra Primrose Hill brings Modern European cuisine to London by balancing British, European and Asian ingredients into meticulously crafted plates. The kitchen maintains this standard with a hard-earned two AA rosette award for culinary excellence. Weekly rotating menus replace rigid recipes, allowing the team to follow what arrives fresh at the market rather than forcing seasonal produce onto a fixed framework. Every dish is presented with careful attention to balance before it leaves the pass.
The Modern European kitchen shifts throughout the week to match available stock. Fish Hook Friday offers a four-course tasting menu built entirely around weekly changing seafood selections. Mid-week specials keep things grounded, such as homemade tagliolini tossed in a black truffle and porcini sauce on Tuesdays or grilled sea bass dressed with olive oil, lemon and pea shoots later in the week. Sundays bring a heavier focus with slow roasted pork belly and aged Argentinian black angus sirloin served alongside tenderstem broccoli and red wine jus.
Dining spills out onto a sheltered terrace where guests can linger over lighter bar snacks or dive straight into the main brasserie offerings. Inside, the space runs a curated wine list spanning more than two hundred bins across France, Italy, Spain and beyond. Twenty selections sit ready by the glass for those arriving without plans, while the cocktail station prepares everything from classic martinis to house creations. Three private rooms handle larger gatherings when the main floor reaches capacity.
