Signature plates and local recognition

Standard lentil stew yields to Rahmalblaise served alongside Spätzle and Körschtaler Lachsforelle. Traditional Maultäschle and Rostbraten sit comfortably beside rheinische preparations like Dippekooche and Spundekäs. These carefully sourced meals reflect a straightforward cooking style that prioritizes ingredient quality over complexity. The approach earned a one ladle rating from the Schlemmer Atlas for 2026.

House spirits and seasonal pairings

Marcus oversees the distillery located just outside the dining floor. He bottles fruit brandies from local orchards and ages grain spirits in oak casks. These base liquids pour neat at the bar or enter custom cocktail mixes designed to highlight orchard sweetness. Seasonal tapas accompany tasting flights during summer openings of the lounge.

Vaulted cellars and historic walls

The building originally served as a working home for a Swabian winegrower family. Renovation preserved heavy timber beams across three separate dining zones and an adjacent terrace. Stone arches frame the lower level, where a traditional Gewölbekeller once stored winter vegetables. Low ceilings and cool air make the cellar ideal for gatherings.
