Oriental Sense & Palate in Shanghai presents a fresh perspective on Chaoshan cuisine inside the Sinan Mansion. Chef Huang Jinghui heads the kitchen through a partnership with The Yidao Restaurant. He builds his dishes on traditional Chaoshan techniques while layering Cantonese and Hakka elements. This combination of Eastern and Western influences results in an unexpected evolution of Chaoshan cooking.

Oriental Sense & Palate resides at No. 57 Sinan Mansion, a structure belonging to a villa community founded in 1920. The site anchors the center of Shanghai, positioned next to Fuxing Park on the northern boundary. Diners can reach Xintiandi shortly from this location. The dining room carries the atmosphere of a preserved historic residence.
