The story
Tim’s Kitchen serves a precise fusion cuisine in Fürth, located just outside Nürnberg. Tim Reinwald founded the restaurant after discovering professional cooking in 2016. He built his technique through extensive travel across Tokyo, Chicago, and Paris rather than formal culinary school. Salt, sweetness, acidity, bitterness, and umami drive every plate he prepares.
The kitchen operates strictly à la carte to give guests full control over their order. Diners can choose individual plates or request a multi course sharing menu. The Iberico Tonnato remains a frequent choice, pairing pink cooked Bellota pork neck with Balfegó tuna and a mayo finished with dashi fond. Fritted capers add texture to these fusion compositions.
Ilva Maria Reinwald manages the front of house and curates the drink list alongside her son. The space features muted tones and a long black bartender counter that anchors the lounge style layout. Der Feinschmecker awarded the kitchen three F marks in 2026 for its casual fine dining approach and attentive hospitality. Guests frequently pair their international cooking selections with biodynamic bottles from France, Germany, and the United States. A rare Spanish amphora wine also sits among the one hundred available labels.
