Livingroom brings Mediterranean cooking to Bochum through a single, expansive loft layout. The venue operates as the region’s largest living room, combining a cocktail bar, lounge seating, and a main dining floor. This unified space houses casual tables alongside finer settings without losing its relaxed character. The design earned two spoons from the Schlemmer Atlas for successfully merging comfort with polished hospitality.

Seasonal Plates and Coastal Flavors

The lunch menu highlights precise pairings like rotbarbenfilet served with riesling velouté and potato parmesan mash. Grilled vegetable sides and tarragon oil cut through the richness of the fish preparation. Other options include pasta tossed with fennel, bacon, apple, and pecorino, alongside a vegetarian dish built around grilled plant protein and tomato rice. An evening Matinée program frequently shifts toward fresh coastal catches, reinforcing the Mediterranean direction.

Operational Rhythm and Shared Roots

Open weekday afternoons and extended Friday through Saturday shifts, the kitchen maintains a steady pace through rotating seasonal menus. The staff coordinates directly with regional suppliers to keep ingredient lists lean and reliable. Operating alongside three other neighborhood venues, the team shares sourcing channels and service standards across the group.
